EEPROM Dump from VW Passat AJM (038906019CE) needed.
Hello all.
I want to change an EDC15P+ 22.3.2 from 038906019KD to 038906019CE (VW Passat 1.9 TDI PD AJM 115HP).
I found the original 038906019CE firmware dump file from FLASH ROM.
Now I need the EEPROM dump file to get the immobilizer back to work again.
If I disable the immobilizer the engine starts but I get the following permanent diagnostic trouble code:
1 Fault Found:
00000 - End of output

Yesterday i did my first time read via KESSv2 on an EDC17C02 ECU from a BMW X3 E83.
The file size of 1504kb made me curious. So as far as i could find out this ECU got a tuning protection (TPROT).
This means for me that read/write via OBD isnt the correct option to use here.
Is it correct that the best option here would be a bench read/write via (for example) KTAG and read/write via O
