Zafira B 1.7 CDTI 2008, there is a damaged Denso ECU

I have Zafira B 1.7 CDTI 2008, there is a damaged Denso ECU with Micro SH7058, I got a second ECU, but it is newer with Micro SH7059.
Can I reprograming -ECU with Micro SH7059 to replace ECU with Micro SH7058?
