407 Changing the ECU

Hey,

Could someone tell me if I can change the ECU without desoldering the eeprom from the old to the new one, or changing both the ECU and BSI?

Or would I still need a virgin file?

I allready have 2 dead ECU's for that reason I'm trying to get around the desoldering part...
